Norman sang for two hours the recitals (Supplicate to God), (And it was God in the Beginning), and (And God is Three Letters of Love).

Julia Botros at Arnoun:

On July 28th , the great singer Julia Botros presented an unforgettable concert on the occasion of the liberation of the south. Through her new song ( Nashid Al-Hourria),  Julia insisted on the necessity to resist the enemy until all the prisoners are free. Julia Botros was the first to sing songs about freedom and now she confirms  her belief that the resistance should not stop until all that belongs to Lebanon is handed back.

Jarash International Festivals Inaugurated:

On July 26th, Jarash 19th International Festivals were inaugurated to give life to that silent monument. Although queen Rania did not attend the opening night, because of the tragedy of the military airplane that crashed just two days before the opening, the festival regained its usual elegance as queen Rania attended its third night while artist Kadhim Assaher sang. Furthermore, about thirty thousand people attended Assaher’s concert.

Nawal Zoughbi… The Golden Lion Trophy:

Artist Nawal Zoughbi was given the trophy for best singer for the year 2000 by the Egyptian Press Minister Safwat Asharif at Cairo’s International Conference Center.Zoughbi was also given the prize for shooting the best video clip for the year 2000. After the warm welcome, Fairouz stood firmly as usual and started singing (Madih Athill Al-Aalli) that is written by Mahmoud Darwich and Khaled Al-Habr and composed by Ziad Rahbani. Afterwards, Fairouz sang (La Inta Habibi), (Indi Thika Feek), (Faik Allay), (Kifak Inta), and (Ishtaktillak). Furthermore, Ziad Rahbani's print is obvious in all the songs; the old as well as the new, besides Fairouz's magnificient voice and performance. The orchestra included 52 players including Ziad Rahbani on the piano. The orchestra was led by Karen Dorgryan and controlled by Nika Babayan, and thousands of fans from all Lebanese regions and from all socio-economic levels attended the three concerts.

Opera "Toska" at Baalbeck:

The magnificient decorations at Jupiter Temple in Baalbeck were so natural and seemed to be a part of that historical place. A huge audience including queen Nour, the first lady Andre Lahoud, Mrs. Mona Al-Hrawi,and Mrs. Nazik Al-Hariri welcomed the seven singers,  the Italian Philarmonic Orchestra and its maestro Pierre Georgio Morandy, and the Ambroziano Milano choir. The first surprise of the evening was that the orchestra was celebrating its 100 anniversary. And the second surprise  was embodied by Mario Cafaradouci's role. Although there were two huge side screens that translated the script to English, the audience understood the play from the passionate feelings the performers conveyed.
