Middle East Cup for hairdressers at Casino Du Liban
Under the sponsorship of Women Hairdressers Association in Lebanon, and the Lebanese Minister of Tourism, Mr. Ali Al Abdullah, the International Organization of Make Up Artists held the Middle East Cup competition for women hairdressers at Casino Du Liban. What distinguished the event this year was the participation of more than twenty European and Arab countries. The works of the Lebanese hairdressers, especially Rafic Younis, were highly appreciated by the members of jury and audience, as it showed high levels of talent and art.

The opening of Rendez Vous Café at Alley
A new café, Rendez Vous Café, was opened in Alley last week. The opening of the café, owned by Mr. Imad Hakki, was not a regular event; in fact, it was an occasion that gathered a very large number of celebrities and artists. The place was crowded by many big stars like Sabah, Yuri Merakadi, Haifa Wehbe, Ameer Yezbeck, Madonna, Mouen Shreif, Toni Khalife, and many others. The artists and attendees enjoyed the event, especially as the Legendary Sabah sang some of her songs.

Arab Football Champions League Finale in Beirut Sports City
Last Sunday the final match in the Arab Football Champions League was held at Beirut Sports City. The Tunisian Safakis team won over the Egyptian Isamili team in a 4-3 score. The event was very important as it was attended by President of Arab Football Association, Prince Sultan Bin Fahd Bin Abdul Aziz, President Lahoud, HE Prime Minister Rafic Hariri, and Speaker Nabih Berri, as well as Vice Prime Minister Issam Faress. In addition to the attendance of many politicians and leaders, the event was packed with artists and singers who enchanted the audience with their singing and performance. May Hariri, Nancy Ajram, Melhem Zein, Rida Butrous, Four Cats, Iwan, and Sherin all performed and sang on stadium, which made the event an unforgettable one.  

The release of Joe Ashkar's third album at Casino – Achrafieh
Artist and Singer Joe Ashkar released his third album, "Shaiaat" (Rumors), last week at Casino nightclub – Achrafieh. The event was attended by many of Joe's friends and fans who enjoyed his performance during the occasion, and had the chance to meet him in person.

Maher Makdessi at CoCo Club – Achrafieh
Artist and Singer Maher Makdessi enchanted his audience by his outstanding performance at Coco Club – Achrafieh. The soiree ended at a very late hour in the night, as the clubbers kept dancing, drinking and enjoying themselves.

The commencement of Stairway of Art Exhibit at Jemmaizeh – Beirut
Under the sponsorship of the first lady, Mrs. Andre Lahoud, and in the  presence of a large number of politicians, socialites, and celebrities, the twelfth exhibit of art at Mar Nicolas Stairway, Jemmaizeh – Beirut commenced last week. The attendees were amazed by the beauty of the art works performed and shown on all sections of the exhibit.

Bacardi Night will be held on July 10, 2004 at BIEL, Beirut with the participation of 12 international groups.

Artist Wael Kfouri is performing every weekend at L'Oscar Palace, Maameltein.

Artists and Singers Hassan Hashem, Abeer, and Ahmad Abdul Hameed are performing every week at Copa Gabana Restaurant.

Charabia is a restaurant and nightclub that hosts live one-man show every Sun. night, while the DJ plays Arabic and English commercial hits on weeknights.

A club/restaurant that presents DJ music throughout the week with a one-man show.
