Some
of Gibran's achievements in different languages and some
studies that stress on his art and his world through his
writings and paintings. "The Prophet", his masterpiece that
carries a message to the world translated in various
languages "made a trip around the world", always
conquering new horizons.
The
photograph shows Gibran in 1909, when he was in
Paris among some artists and friends in the studio
of the sophist artist Pierre Marcel Berenneau.
Two
photographs: one showing Gibran in his youth, and
the other:
a portrait
of Mary Haskell by Gibran.
The
chosen furniture belonging to Gibran that are exposed here
illustrate the simple and yet pleasant life of the artist.
Nature reflects the roots. A chandelier with seven
branches and a portrait of Rodin painted by Gibran is a
preliminary touch of his great and rich art.
A photograph showing Gibran in his studio in New York is
once again a witness to the genuiness of the origin of the
exposed.
Nature
and Man in nudity, and the relationship between the
two of them.
It is the beginning of the gibranean visions
(1908 - 1914).
