The play is a comedy which belongs to the genre of political critique.
It tells the story of a Lebanese citizen who was trapped during the beginning of the Lebanese civil war in 1975 in a food store on the demarcation lines in Beirut and remained alive.

In 1998, when the cracked building was to be demolished as part of the process of post-war reconstruction in the capital, the forgotten Lebanese citizen was found in one of the building's stores by the "Toq Rire" team.

The man had forgotten everything following 24 years of life underneath. He was still living in the past of the Lebanese civil war.
The team tried to convince him to get out. He finally agreed on condition that present Lebanese leaders came to the store to meet him. When the encounter happened, the man decided to die.
