Son Of Dork, a new artist signed to Mercury, debuts on the UK singles chart at # 3 with their first single 'Ticket Out Of Loserville'.  They are only held off the top slot by Madonna and Westlife.

'Ticket Out Of Loserville' is taken from the Gil Norton (Foo Fighters, Jimmy Eat World, Pixies) produced album 'Welcome To Loserville' which will be released on 21  November in the UK. 

Son Of Dork prove that popular music need no longer mean the insipid boy bands of the late '90's. The music is rock/ pop music back to it's roots, accessible, catchy, unashamedly populist but played by musicians.  Formed by Busted's James Bourne, Son Of Dork will already have a fan base in many of your markets..... musically  where Busted stopped, Son Of Dork steps up a level and moves on.
