Najwa Karam the famous Lebanese singer was born on 26/02/1966 in Zahleh city, Lebanon.

Her career took off in 1985, when she participated in the Layali Loubnan TV program singing the popular Mawal, for which she earned the Gold medal.  Then she went on and participated in many concerts until the audience got to know her voice and the type of music she performs like Al Ataba, Al Mijana  and Al Mawal which suits her country voice perfectly.

To date, Najwa Karam has produced 8 albums that brought her to her current success and fame.  Her debut song was Ma Bessmahlak which made her famous in the Arab world.  Afterwards, she had many hits like Wrood Eddar, Sehrani, Khayarouni, Hazzy Hilo, Ya Habayeb, Ma Hada La Hada, Maghroomi, Rooh Roohi and Oyoun Albi.

She has participated in many festivals and concerts around the Arabic world, Europe, America including the Kartaj and Jarash festivals.

In 1996, Najwa Karam held many concerts in many cities and states in the United States of America.  Those were a big success and for that, she received the Honorary American Citizenship and also the Key to the City of Chicago.
