Biography

Melhem Zein was born in October 21, 1982 and was raised in a family reputed for its strong and distinguished voices.
At the age of 7 he performed "Oum Koultoum's" song "Lesaa Faker" in a wedding Party.
Later on he became very influenced by the musicians "Mhammad Abdel Wahab" and "Nazem El Ghazali".
At the Age of 11, he participated in a school festival for the "Lebanese Song" and won the first place for the Bekaa county.
He also participated in "Ka's el Noujoum" program and won the price of "Mohammad Abdel Wahad's" episode. It was given to him by the famous Lebanese journalist "Georges Ibrahim El-Khoury".

He's finally proven his talents during his participation in the "Super Star" program in September 2002. Since his first appearance on Futur TV, he gained the love of the public and became famous in no time.
He performed different traditional Lebanese and Arab songs.
When he was nominated to leave the program, his name was on the first pages of Lebanese and Arab magazines. We also heard about him in all Radio's and TV's.
The public gave him the title of "Star" and he was called "Al Rayess".
Melhem Zein owns a great voice and is a remarkable performer.
The Kuweitee composer "Abdallah A; Ka'oud" described him as an exceptional real artist through the great love of his public and his great voice.
Melhem wasn't discouraged by his loss in the "Super Star" program nor he was contented by people's love. In the contrary, he persevered and worked hard to prevent to his large Public a brand new album that will prove on more time his huge talents in performing different kind of songs.

The album is composed of 8 Lebanese songs of different Styles and colors, all carefully chosen.
