TRIO AUDACE
Alexander Oll - (obeo), Dirk Altmann - (clarinet), Eckat Hübner - (bassoon), will play Haydn, Poulenc, Maderna, Telemann and Mozart. This europewide famous reed trio with over a hundred concert has the aim to present early baroque and avantgarde compositions in this rare instrumentation.

To celebrate 10 years of Berlin without the wall, the Berlin foto-artist Günther Schäfer will present his detailed documentation of life in Berlin with and without the wall.

CHRISTO WRAPPING THE GERMAN REICHTAG
The worldwide known artist Christo tried for nearly 20 years to convince the German Parliament to give the permission for his wrapping idea. Just before this symbol of German history became again the seat of Parliament of the reunified Germany he was allowed to do so. This film documents the political discussion and the artistic process. W Hissen, one of the filmmakers, will be present for discussion.

BERLIN'S ARCHITECTURE BETWEEN DESTRUCTION AND RECONSTRUCTION
Dr. Reimund Fein, professor of architecture, will give an overview on the construction history of Berlin during the last 100 years, emphasizing the social application on the population of this ancient and new German capital, showing a lot of parallels with Beirut.

In addition to the lecture students from LAU, Byblos show drafts and models for a special quarter of Berlin - the result of a two week study there in 1999.
