- (bassoon), will play Haydn, Poulenc, Maderna, Telemann and

WRAPPING THE GERMAN REICHTAG
The worldwide known artist Christo tried for nearly 20 years
to convince the German Parliament to give the permission for his
wrapping idea. Just before this symbol of German history became
again the seat of Parliament of the reunified Germany he was
allowed to do so. This film documents the political discussion
and the artistic process. W Hissen, one of the filmmakers, will
be present for discussion.

ARCHITECTURE BETWEEN DESTRUCTION AND RECONSTRUCTION
Dr. Reimund Fein, professor of architecture, will give an
overview on the construction history of Berlin during the last
100 years, emphasizing the social application on the population
of this ancient and new German capital, showing a lot of
parallels with Beirut.
