New interaction between Fashion and Music, “The Music from the Fashion Week Spring Summer 2003”, is the exclusive Music selection of the Spring Summer 2003 collections in New York, London, Milan and Paris.

Paul Smith, Dries Van Noten, Vivienne Westwood, Dolce & Gabanna, Sonia Rykiel, Jil Sander, Cacharel and many other famous designers throw us into their glamour, eccentric, exhilarating and exciting universe. For the first time, the main famous designers are collaborating on a common and unique project where each selected track corresponds to a specific fashion show.

The panorama of the tracks is definitely eclectic and goes from the wonderful BIS, Mirwais and Chicken Lips to the musical gems of Swayzak, Mekon and Röyksopp. You will also find in this festive programme, several versions of old standards : “Do you think I’m Sexy ?” from Rod Steward and its electro sex version by Queen of Japan, “Suspicious Mind” from Elvis re-stylised by Paul Fryer with an 80’s touch as well as “Joe le Taxi” from Vanessa Paradis brightly revisited in pounding electro style by the Japanese group Havano. And for those

who long for the colours of the 80’s, Add N to (X) is the guarantor for the kitsch, avant-guarde, rock’n roll spirit of next season.

Moreover, Summer 2003 will be definitely SEXY ! From the subversive “Poupée qui fait non” (the doll who says no) from Michel Polnareff, revisited by the British band Saint Etienne, to the very hot “J’aime regarder les mecs” (I love to watch guys) from Polyester 

The established order has been dragged out onto the streets, the Fashion addicts no  longer have the exclusivity on these glamourous sounds. Fashion Week is here !
