Geara Kamal:
Student at ALBA (1965), she started her professional activity with fashion drawings
and the creation of Lebanese
stamps at the office of the designer Marc David.
From 1968 until 1975 she tought drawing at 'Soeurs des
Saints-Coeurs', Sioufi,
and at the Besançon sisters, Picot strett and Hazmieh.
The war made her leave for France in 1976.
She animated painting sessions to the teachers and the students at the Rostagne
shool (Antibes) then she returned to an intensive professional activity with individual
exhibitions at Albion art gallery (Cannes) in 1986, 1988 and 1989.
In 1991, after an individual exhibition at Albion art gallery (Cannes) in July,
she held an exhibition in December at Meyer art gallery, Faubourg St Honore street in
Paris. In 1992 after an individual exhibition at the Middle East students center Bourgogne
street, she participated in the salon of independant artists and the Grand Palais in
Paris.
In 1993, she exposed at Abella hotel in Monaco, and accepted to permanently
expose many paintings at the Albion galleries in Cannes and Mouvances, Paris.
In 1996 she exposed at the Office of Lebanese Tourism in Paris.
