She’s Diana Karazon (19 years old) from Jordan…

Since her early childhood, her family of musicians and especially her father who plays the guitar encouraged her to sing. Despite her young age, she started singing for Oum Koulsoum. Later on she sung poems and then kid’s songs in plays and theatres.

Diana was involved in several activities in Jordan. She participated in numerous Operas for the King of Jordan as well as many ceremonies in her country. She represented Jordan in “Dubai Amateur Festival” in 2000 and was elected third. Before “Super Star”, Diana had participated and won the “Best Voice” Competition of MBC.

At the beginning, Diana was impressed by the huge promotions for the “Super Star” program on TV, and she was so happy when they called her to join it in Syria.

She says: “I was so excited that I couldn’t sleep all night, and I departed early in the morning towards Syria. Although I got there around ten o’clock in the morning, I waited for 8 hours for my turn to come. I was so nervous because I had to face judges, I set among the participants very worried, but I was so confident and wanted to prove myself. I came all the way from Jordan to show my best and I had god beside me, so I continued the journey! When I came out, I was crying so much that everyone thought I failed; but they were tears of Joy… I was accepted.”

Diana remembers the day she passed the first round: “I received thousands of calls and so did my family... I was extremely happy like never before.” The next day she went to school wearing the same blue tie where the crowed received her shouting “Super Star”.

The strong confidence that Diana has is primary supplied from her mother, her first fan who is always beside her to back her up, to cheer her… she even design her clothes not to forget the famous bleu dress. “I feel success in every moment especially when I stare at my mother’s face”

The Chairman of Music Master International Mr. Ghassan El Ajou had a small comment: “Diana Karazon is a real star who made  Jordan and all Arabs proud… her fantastic voice is a treasure and she easily competes with legendary singers…”

Diana Karazon launched her first album titled : “Diana karazon” on September 30, 2003 in Virgin Megastore Beirut with the presence of an impressive crowd of media and fans.
