NOW SHOWING IN THEATRESAl (Prinze, Jr.) and Imogen (Stiles) are college students at a New York university who meet at a bar and begin to fall
for each other. Al is a Liberal Arts major and aspiring chef whose father (Winkler) is a television celebrity. Imogen is an aspiring painter. Their relationship evolves gradually over a three month period, eventually culminating in the bedroom when the two are convinced that, yes, they are in love and can thus take things to that level. The circle of friends is completed with Al's friend Monk (Orth), a fledgling porn star; Cyrus (Blair), a sexpot who has the hots for Al; Jim Morrison (Kutcher), who believes himself to be a reincarnation of his namesake; Al's desperate roommate Eddie (Hatosy), who can't seem to find a girlfriend of his own; and Imogen's friend Lana
(Dawson), who helps to ease Eddie's pain. As Al and Imogen begin to feel too comfortable with each other, their romance falls apart. By the time a few years pass and Al understands how grave a mistake he made in giving up Imogen, he wonders if he's lost her forever.
