(Hilltop Town 48 km)

    A roadside sign marks the turnoff to this hilltop town west of Rashaya. Seen from the main road, the fortress-like rock face that underpins the town resembles a great rampart. You can get a closer look at the formation by walking behind a white-domed tomb at the top of the cliff. After admiring the sheer rock, parts of which seem to have been hollowed out by man or nature, enjoy the panoramic view of the view of the valley below. On your way back look for the two extremely old Mediterranean oaks in the grounds of the tomb.
