The
second
episode
was
full
of
surprises
and
events.
The
first
participant,
Mohammad
Laffi,
was
able
to
win
the
highest
percentage
of
votes
up
till
now,
and
he
paid
a
debt
of
gratitude
to
all
those
who
voted
for
him
requesting
that
they
vote
for
him
out
of
their
real
belief
in
his
voice
and
presence.
This
is
what
the
jury,
chaired
by
Mr.
Elias
Rahbani,
confirmed
when
he
maintained
that
“Mohammad
Laffi”
has
very
high
vocal
potentials
and
deserves
to
be
one
of
the
ten
finalists.
As
for
the
Egyptian
participant,
Wael
Abdul
Kader,
also
known
as
Wael
Mansour,
he
won
the
highest
number
of
votes
from
girls
and
young
women,
since
many
voted
for
him
because
of
impressive
presence,
looks,
and
warm
voice.
Music
Master/
Warner
Music
expressed
its
optimism
about
those
participants,
and
their
relief
regarding
the
results
achieved
so
far.
Mohammad
Laffi
After
singing
“Ya
Ghayeb”
by
Fadel
Shaker
and
“Ya
Ghayeb
Ta’al”
by
Ragheb
Alama
during
the
first
and
second
phases
of
Superstar
respectively,
Mohammad
Laffi,
the
Palestinian
living
in
Kuwait,
was
able
to
prove
his
artistic
abilities
and
impressive
success
in
the
talent
T.V.
show
broadcast
by
Future
T.V.
Mohammad
Laffi
(19
years
old)
is
the
youngest
in
a
family
of
six
children.
He
used
to
sing
to
himself
and
to
his
family.
At
the
age
of
15,
he
sang
with
a
group
of
friends,
and
proved
to
be
the
best
of
all.
Singing
continued
to
be
a
hobby
for
Mohammad
who
was
inspired
by
the
songs
of
Abdul
Halim
Hafez
and
Fadel
Shaker.
However,
his
eldest
brother’s
encouragement
to
participate
in
Superstar
changed
his
life
because
he
never
expected
to
be
accepted
as
a
participant
due
to
his
special
circumstances.
Everybody
describes
Mohammad’s
participation
in
the
show
as
an
opportunity
to
show
his
talent
and
abilities;
he
also
thanks
“all
his
friends
and
parents
who
take
credit
for
my
encouragement
and
support.”
Mohammad
is
a
Palestinian
in
origin
and
a
resident
of
Kuwait.
His
horoscope
sign
is
Leo;
and
he
graduated
recently
from
high
school.
He
is
not
currently
planning
for
his
future
until
after
the
show.
He
maintained
after
his
success
in
the
first
phase,
“People
know
me
now..
I
became
a
celebrity,
and
this
proves
the
success
of
the
show.
I
participated
to
gain
the
experience,
a
broader
knowledge
and
get
to
know
my
vocal
abilities.
I
also
wish
that
my
dream
comes
true
and
I
become
a
star.”
Today,
Mohammad
Laffi
got
the
highest
rate
of
votes
(38.65%)
in
the
second
round
of
the
second
phase.
Below
is
an
interview
conducted
with
him
a
few
moments
after
the
announcement
of
the
results…
How
do
you
describe
your
success
today,
and
the
high
percentage
of
votes
that
you
got?
Actually,
I
didn’t
believe
it…
and
I
needed
a
couple
of
moments
to
myself
to
reflect
on
what
happened.
They
say
that
you
achieved
this
huge
success
because
of
the
public’s
sympathy
with
your
special
situation.
What
do
you
have
to
say
about
this?
I
have
complete
trust
in
my
vocal
abilities;
and
my
voice
could
be
ordinary
compared
to
other
more
beautiful
voices.
But
I
sing
with
utmost
sensuality,
which
distinguished
me
from
the
other
participants
and
made
me
closer
to
my
audience
who
chose
me.
Disability
does
not
have
to
be
a
source
of
discouragement,
and
a
case
in
point
is
the
fame
of
Stevie
Wonder
and
Andrea
Bocelli…
I’m
not
like
them…
I
lost
my
sight
at
the
age
of
14
because
of
a
medical
fault.
Today
I’m
able
to
distinguish
people
depending
on
my
psychological
state
and
a
certain
degree
of
illumination.
Moreover,
my
trust
in
God
is
immense,
and
my
success
today
might
help
me
to
overcome
my
challenge
more.
I
especially
demand
that
you
do
not
focus
on
this
issue
that
much
so
that
it
wouldn’t
stick
in
the
audience’s
memory.
I
would
prefer
that
whoever
sees
me
or
reads
about
me
shows
admiration
for
the
way
I
talk
and
my
voice
not
more…
After
your
success
today,
are
you
going
to
study
music
professionally?
The
responsibility
increased,
and
maybe
I
didn’t
prepare
myself
well
between
the
first
and
second
phase
of
the
show
because
of
personal
issues
that
kept
me
busy.
However,
things
should
become
more
serious
from
now
on
to
prove
to
the
audience
that
I’m
able
to
preserve
their
precious
trust.
You
signed
a
contract
with
MUSIC
MASTER/
WARNER
that
guarantees
you
a
whole
album
in
the
case
final
success
or
a
single
in
a
compilation
album
with
other
participants.
Are
you
going
to
agree
on
the
music
concepts
that
the
company
will
suggest
for
the
launch
of
your
music
career?
Why
not?
I
like
all
music
styles
and
I
have
to
satisfy
all
tastes.
On
the
other
hand,
I
have
to
listen
to
their
advice
considering
their
rich
experience
in
this
field.
In
your
opinion,
who
is
the
current
superstar?
I
don’t
prefer
to
specify
any
particular
name,
and
this
title
might
be
given
to
any
artist
who
has
the
potential
for
success
including
physical
appearance,
presence,
voice,
sensuality,
and
the
wise
choice
of
lyrics.
You
sing
with
sensuality.
Are
you
currently
in
love?
(laughing)
No…
not
yet.
What
is
your
hobby?
I
like
shopping
and
going
out.
I
don’t
like
to
stay
at
home,
and
I
don’t
like
dining
out
a
lot.
Wael
Abdul
Hameed
Mansour
Wael
(19
years
old)
is
studying
public
relations
and
advertising
at
the
faculty
of
Information
–
University
of
Cairo.
His
sign
is
Virgo
and
he
loves
singing,
basketball,
and
all
that
has
to
do
with
creativity.
Wael’s
mother
was
the
first
to
discover
his
singing
talent
at
the
age
of
11.
She
used
to
listen
to
him
while
driving
around
in
the
car
singing
the
songs
of
Oum
Kulthoum
and
Abdul
Haleem
Hafez.
However,
he’d
never
sung
in
front
of
anybody
until
his
friends
at
college
were
amazed
by
his
success
in
“Superstar”
because
they
had
never
listened
to
him
sing
earlier.
One
day,
Wael
listened
to
Julia
Botros’s
song
“Wein
El
Malayeen”….
This
is
when
his
national
emotions
moved
within
him,
so
he
started
singing
national
revolutionary
songs
and
Julia
became
his
favorite
artist.
Wael
has
a
twin
brother,
Walid,
but
he’s
his
exact
opposite.
He
sings
the
western
style
of
music
with
a
rock
band…
When
Wael
saw
the
special
ad
of
Superstar,
he
wasn’t
encouraged
to
participate;
however,
a
friend
of
his
at
the
university
explained
to
him
the
concept
of
the
show
and
its
significance,
as
well
as
the
reputation
that
it
achieved
in
the
countries
of
the
world
where
it
was
broadcast.
So
he
was
encouraged
to
participate
in
Egypt’s
round
where
he
sang
some
of
Abdul
Haleem,
Ragheb
Alama
and
Amro
Diab’s
songs.
Below
is
another
interview
conducted
with
Wael
Mansour
after
winning
13.52%
of
the
votes
during
the
second
episode
of
the
second
round.
Where
do
you
stand
today
in
terms
of
music
and
your
education?
I
was
trying
to
choose
between
journalism
and
marketing.
However,
I
felt
that
I
was
unable
to
express
my
thoughts
through
writing
or
speaking,
so
I
chose
the
field
of
advertising.
This
does
not
mean
that
I
don’t
like
singing…
I
like
it
a
lot,
but
the
word
“message”
was
consumed
by
all
singers:
Do
all
of
them
really
have
a
message
that
they
have
to
convey?
That’s
why
I
feel
that
the
artist
should
have
different
and
varied
orientations
in
the
world
of
art
and
should
present
those
orientations
to
his
audience,
leaving
for
them
the
freedom
of
choice
among
what’s
best
and
more
fit
for
them
and
the
artist;
at
the
same
time,
the
lyrics
should
be
able
to
influence
the
recipient,
apart
from
relying
more
on
emotion,
revolutionary
feelings,
or
a
particular
social
situation.
Is
this
what
made
you
present
a
song
by
Abdul
Haleem?
(laughing)…
I
preferred
the
revolutionary
song.
However,
if
I
were
able
to
prove
my
presence
in
the
music
scene,
I
would
really
love
to
benefit
from
my
status
and
convey
a
message
that
I’m
convinced
of.
I
won’t
say
that
I’m
going
to
be
a
classical
artist…
I
love
to
present
any
style
of
music
which
is
beautiful,
regardless
of
the
expression
“the
standards
of
the
current
time”…
What
are
the
“standards
of
the
current
time”
in
your
opinion?
I
was
really
impressed
by
Superstar…
I
used
to
think
that
it
is
a
show
that’s
looking
for
this
type
of
standards.
However,
the
success
of
Diana
Karzoun
and
Saber
Shouerif
in
the
first
episode,
and
the
audience’s
wise
choice
of
their
beautiful
voices
completely
violated
those
standards.
In
addition,
the
issue
of
the
choice
of
song
is
the
participant’s
sole
responsibility,
regardless
of
the
prior
conditions
that
are
set
by
the
show
organizers
or
the
jury.
But
the
situation
will
be
different
later
on
with
MUSIC
MASTER/WARNER
that
will
sponsor
you
in
your
music
career…
Of
course…
We
are
not
yet
professionals
and
we
don’t
have
the
experience…
We
sang
with
utmost
sensuality
and
spontaneity.
However,
the
standards
will
differ
under
the
professional
framework.
Yet
this
issue
does
not
worry
us
with
the
presence
of
an
understanding
company
and
a
group
of
experts
who
can
guide
each
one
of
us
to
the
right
track.
Until
this
moment,
you
don’t
believe
that
you
won
in
the
show.
In
your
opinion,
why
did
the
audience
choose
you?
A
difficult
question…
I
don’t
want
to
look
like
a
show-off….
Are
you
going
to
give
up
your
education
for
the
sake
of
art?
No…I
will
combine
both
at
the
beginning,
or
at
least
in
terms
of
designing
the
ads
to
promote
my
music
works…
We
know
that
your
twin
brother
sings
too;
however,
he
is
taking
the
opposite
track
after
joining
a
western
band.
