Assembly of the presidents of municipal unions

Yesterday, the presidents of municipal unions assembled at the municipal palace at Zouk Mikael and it was the first since 1988.

The purpose was first of all to welcome the law of municipal elections in the dates issued from the Council of Ministers. The position of municipal presidents, independence of municipal work, will be continued and developed as before the war.

Roads Projects Will Cost 1250 million U.S Dollars.

The Minister of Public Works Ali Hrajli has declared that the program of rehabilitation and development of roads will cost 1250 million U.S. dollars hoping that the parliament will approve it by the beginning of the year. Roads covered under this project have a total of 6330 km:
