8x8's Remote Surveillance Module allows anyone within reach of a touch-tone telephone to monitor any similary equiped location worldwide. It uses standard telephone lines to provide full-color motion video(up to 20 frames per second), making remote surveillance of business and property both practical and cost-effective for the first time.

The Remote Surveillance Module connects to a standard telephone line and three camera inputs (or to a video switcher for additional cameras). Set the unit to auto-answer mode and no one in your store will ever know when they're under live surveillance. Using a second unit connected to a TV and a telephone line at home or in the office, a business owner can dial in and see anything that is in view of the remote cameras. The user can also switch between camera views, Zoom-in, pan/tilt and take a snapshot for positive ID.
