Children's Activities

Planet Discovery continues to draw large numbers of children. Special events this summer included a workshop where the 2- to 15-years olds could enjoy activities in the adjoining garden and piazza, such as painting, sand art, plastic art and storytelling, and also browse through the cyber world. Interactive puppet theater performances provided the opportunity for fun and initiation  to puppet handling, stage setting and musical storytelling. Through the joint initiative of the Beirut Lions Club and SOLIDERE, 630 children from various philanthropic societies were invited to the science museum. In other activities, children performed in concerts, or enjoyed watching performances by actors, clowns, jugglers and acrobats.
