The Cedars

Located in the north of Lebanon, the Cedars are Distant 130 Km from Beirut and it would take about 2 hours by car to reach the resort. The Cedars resort has a slightly longer season than the others, sometimes beginning early November and often lasting until late April. The Cedars mountains are equally suitable for alpine skiing and snowboarding, as well as for cross - country skiing . Kids also may start learn skiing on one of the 4 baby - ski, with the help of certified trainers . 4 Different slope levels , all starting at 2150 m , are available and are : 4 snow wire lifts , 4 T- shaped ski lifts , 1 one seat chair lift .

Faraya – Mzaar

Located in the heart of the Mount Lebanon, Faraya is distant 40Km and Ouyoune El Simane 46 Km from Beirut, and it would take about 1:15 hours by car to reach the resort, then turn right. Faraya is the name of the village just below the actual slopes in Ouyoune El Simane- Kfarzebian , it is the best-equipped and most popular resort of Lebanon . Skiers, snowboarders, snowmobile addicts, cross - country lovers and paragliders come to Faraya from all parts of the country. Starting at 1850 am, you may reach the 2465m top of Mzaar and enjoy the breathtaking view over the colorful Bekaa valley, Mount Hermon of the Anti - Lebanon and other peaks like Laqlouq and the Cedars. Coastal towns and even Beirut the capital might be seen on a clear day. Season usually starts late in December and lasts until April.
Slopes are open from 8:00 AM to 3:30 PM on weekdays and 4:00 P.M. during Weekends. Faraya - Mzaar witnesses various competitions and ski events throughout the season . 12 different slopes levels , from beginners to experts , are available and served by : 2 snow wire lifts, 3 one person ski lifts, 2 two - seater chairlifts, 3 three - seater chairlifts,1 four - seater chairlift .

Zaarour

Located to the south of all other resorts , Zaarour is distant 54 Km from Beirut , and it would take about 1:30 hours by car to reach the resort . Zaarour is the closest resort to Beirut city and one of the smallest ones in Lebanon , but yet offering all kinds of winter outdoor activities .Zaarour is very well known for the excellent opportunity for cross – country skiing over a distance of more that 4 Km on the sannine mountain .it is well controlled with excellent security measures taken to avoid incidents . 5 slopes are available and served by: 2 snow wire lifts, 3 ski lifts.
