Beit Eddine
Located midway between Baakline and Deir El Kamar, Emir Bechir El Chehabi built a palace which is a jewel of the Lebanese architecture of the XIXth century with its elegant porches and archades, fountains, galleries, its monumental doors with various engravings, carried out by the most skillful sculptors of that times.

The tourists will no doubt note the inscription engraved on the wall of the reception room called "DIWANE" which reads "an hour of justice is better than a thousand prayers."

The Museum of Beitedine adds the charm of this small village to the light arcades, to the domes, to the columns etc...
